I am so surprised to see all the positive reviews. I wonder if most of these reviews are from before their change? I use to really love Focus night and day. They were perfect. When I ordered my last batch, I was notified that they made some changes (see below). I am crushed because they are so uncomfortable. I feel them in my eyes constantly. They get foggy so easily and almost have a burning sensation. I think if the previous reviews are older, and therefore are referring to the contacts before the change, it needs to be noted. CIBA Vision changed the brand name of Night & Day to Air Optix Night & Day Aqua. The lens now features the comfort enhancing AQUA Moisture System, visibility tint, and an inversion indicator. Orders for Night & Day will be filled with Air Optix Night & Day Aqua.

I want the old night & day contacts back!!
Like the prior poster, I wonder if most of these reviews were made prior to the switch to the Air Optix Night & Day Aqua, and were just from the regular Night & Day. I had been wearing the Focus Night & Day contacts for 6 years and they were priceless to me, being able to sleep in my contacts and SEE when I wake up in the middle of the night was wonderful!!! I was never notified by my eye Dr of the change, they just ordered the new ones for me. When I first put them in all seemed fine, but after 1 hour my eyes were watering and burning. I keep taking them out and rinsing them with saline hoping it would help, but it didn't. Throughout the day they continued getting worse, and my lids were actually swelling a little!! In my desperation to still be able to sleep in my contacts I made the mistake of sleeping in them, I woke up and my eyes were so "gunky" I thought I had conjunctivitis!! When I took them out it felt like I had sandpaper in my eyes, it was horrible! I contacted Ciba and they sent the old Night & Days to my Dr.s office and are going to switch them out. From what the woman told me they are working to correct the comfort issues and by the time I need to order more they should be good. I hope so because I will be lost without being able to sleep in my contacts!!

Bring back the original!!!
Like many others here I have used the original Night & Day contacts with great success. They were absolutely perfect! I would wear them for a full 30 days (not removing them at all) and I couldn't even tell I was wearing contacts. About two weeks ago (Nov 3rd 2009) my contact lens provider sent the new Air Optix Night and Day which replaced the discontinued originals and they are not half as comfortable! Yes the vision correction is the same but with these I experience quite a bit of discomfort. Please bring back the original Night and Day! At least give the consumer a choice!

Absolutely the BEST!
It was strange at first to wear them over night... but I do love waking up in the morning and being able to see!! Not to mention not having to take the time to put them every morning and remove them every night. But the best thing is, my eyes are never red or dry. I was having a trouble wearing my past contacts even for a full day because of dryness and irritation.

Love these lenses!
I have worn Focus N&D for about 5 years now. I recently visited the eye doctor to renew my prescription for contacts. They offered me two different types of lenses to try just to see if I wanted to change contacts. One pair was absolutely horrible and I only made it two days wearing them before I quit and the other pair my eyes kept drying out too much. I put my Focus back in and the difference was immediate. I absolutely love these lenses and have no intention of changing to anything else. I don't sleep with them in, but I do wear them all day long and my eyes hardly get dry and if they do, it is only for a minute and then I am fine again. I don't need drops or anything. I suffer from allergies and these are the best I have found to work.
